I'm Christian.I’ve been a full-time direct response copywriter and marketer since 2018.I’ve worked with dozens of clients over the years, and have written in a variety of niches.I’ve sold everything from dating products to financial newsletters. As much as I’d like to brag and claim that I’m a “superstar A-List copywriter who’s generated $1 billion in sales for his clients” - unfortunately, that would be false.In fact, for several years into my career I did a lousy job at following up with clients to request the sales generated from the promotions I was writing for them.Other times they simply did not disclose numbers to me when I asked.However, to give a ballpark estimate of the cumulative gross revenue I generated for my clients over the years, it would be around the $10 million mark.
For Years, I Didn't Even Have a Website!
I stayed busy (sometimes TOO busy) just from basic outreach, referrals, and doing client work.I also realized clients never really cared about me having a fancy website - they just cared about the quality of work and results my copy would bring to their business.But as of 2023, I’ve made a significant change to my approach, and how I work.So I figured I would explain it here in this simple one-page website.
My Old Way of Working With Clients:
I would work with clients based on a project-based fee, or through a monthly retainer.This is how 99% of copywriters and marketers operate.There’s nothing “wrong” with this approach, as it’s the standard method in this industry.However, I noticed there was a significant drawback to this method of billing.Mainly - the client takes on all the risk.They would often shell out significant sums of money, and I would get paid regardless of how well a promotion did.This means they were never “guaranteed” to make a return on their investment.
The New Way I Work With Clients:
Nowadays, I do things differently and have adopted a "performance based" approach.I partner with business owners, and strategize and execute entire monthly promotions for them at no upfront cost…And only get compensated based on a percentage of the revenue generated from the promotions I write.No monthly retainer.No "hidden fees."A true win-win situation with no risk to the business owner...As all the risk lies in my ability to perform!Therefore, there’s a guarantee of generating a return on investment when you work with me.So, if you’re not running promotions for major events like:

Or even promos for things like:
